looks good, I would want to know more about the
"over sized motor"

the 250r's have finally gone down on value after 20 years at the top.

I bet you can get it for 38/39k

yea i think that 4200 is a little much, maybe 3500-3800, i would check it out in real life first becuz that quad has axis fronts, and you think that he woulda mentioned that.

I'm with CSR, I think 42 is way to much. For that price there should be a little better detailed description, at least I think so. It looks nice tho...

Glad to see someone from the bay area on here!

If you want, I'll go look at it with you. If it's close.

I live in Hayward.

As far as the 250r is concered, that is the highest priced 250r I have seen on craigslist in the bay area. I would have to see it first hand to see if it's worth the asking price.

Yeah I have seen one for 6500 but it was set up for drag. I have also seen some really nice ones for around 3200, but none with aftermarket frames.

This one was 5k

Hey George,
Make sure that bikes got a title and registration being it having an aftermarket frame. The asking price is relative since it is uncommon here in Northern Cali to find aftermarket framed R's.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy it if there is no title. Do you guys think it is worth the extra loot for an aftermarket frame? I am not going to be doing organized racing. I think I am gonna try to find a cheaper one.

No I have never been to Hollister.

I am going to go to Carnegie on Wed and/or Thurs to test out my 88 250R I got a month ago.

I resarched Hollister and Carnegie on www.bayarearidersforum.com

Hollister seems to be the best.

I am down to go any time you want.

yeah sure, I go all the time and know all the trails. Plus they are mostly one way and markes in difficulty levels. I would like to go with a 250r guy and whoop on some 450's
