I FINALLY got my Daughter LILQJ to agree to let me use her for some practice shots!:D I havent really shot much photos of NON moving objects and needed some practice(her freind is the one with braces)
Today we played a little in the yard, nothing too special but got a few pics of her and her best freind for some end of the school year pics to give to some freinds. .
I cant believe a few more weeks and school is out !
Im hoping I convicned her that she takes pics pretty good so I can get LOTS more!:blah: They actually had a great time doing it. I got cloase to 200 pics of them together, these was my favorite.

Time to work on my boy next-I need the pratice! :o :p

I wanted to play with colors a little for some practice for dif. looks.

Messing with cameras is always fun, so many different settings to play with. My sister is always taking pictures for myspace, lol.

I think the next ones will be summer in the park. I might take out thequads and get them out by waterfalls, maybe do some shotsof the kids in here gear and tank tops ect..Would make some great shots for portfolios for the fall season.
Plus, its all that more practice for ME!:D

i wish my parents would have started me out early. Im not complaining though, starting out riding at 13 is good for me. Even though i earned everything myself....

QuadJunkies

I would have settled for 13 yrs old instead of 30 something :ermm:

My kids earn what they have too.
They have ALOT of chores, Kelsey especailly does alot since I work nights. She a HUGE help, her brother...well..... We have hope. LOL
Expectations of good grades, its one thing if you need help and are struggling to understand something as we all are not perfect all the time. What I mean is I will not let that be allowed as an excuse for not trying at least and trying to show improvments along the way.
She has had all good grades this year, one not so good in the beginning but she pulled it up to a B so I knew she had it in her. :)

We work hard and although we are not poor, we are not rich either .lol so it takes the whole family to pull together to make it work and we do w/o some things to have other things.

whats her myspace link? :blah:

Great shots! I have a 13 year old myself. First semester straight A's this semester down hill. She's turning things around now too though. Seems to be the struggle with being a social butterfly and a great student. Huge change from 12 to 13.

Its crazy on the 6th to 7th grade transition isnt it?!!
I think ALOT has to do with where the schools draw the line for 6th grade students on middle schools or throwing them into the Junior High School system too early.I think it forces them to grow up too fast with the older kids before they are ready. I think 6th grade is the last REAL year of being a kid before all the teen stuff kicks in
Thats JMO.
But yes... it is a huge change and OHHHHH....how I remember that age Oh so well... :uhoh:
Im still in shock that she will be in 8th grade ,then off to High school !:huh
