first, I did search for rev box but its too short (3 characters) so I searched *rev* and it brings up other stuff like the word prevent so it was no use anyways.

anyways, I dont really wanna rev my engine higher than stock being that its a stroker, but if I had an increased rev limiter doetn mean Id have to rev that high, but Im interested in the adjusted spark timing curve, does it really make a noticable increase in low/mid range like stated or is it not worth it?

specificall looking at big gun over rev cdi cuz I can get one used off an 02 being parted out for 50 bucks.

IMO they are not worth it. i have tried aftermarket CDI boxes, and actually went back stock becuase i liked the power delivery of it better. teh advanced timing curve may increase throttle response some, but will not give you any power really. plus it will generate un needed heat on your stroked motor, most do not suggest advanced timing on big bore/stroker motors.

i liked the extra revs from mine, but hated that it is a pain to start in cooler weather? (below 50*)

I just put in my Magnum this weekend, I really like it. It was in the 60's when I cranked it over, no problems. I don't have to go into fourth on my one straight on my track. The only problem with it is that is so easy to clear my table top now. Definately could tell a difference.
