ok, mods in sig, Im guessing that the stg 3 moves the curve a little further up top but has more available up there. anyways since in drag racing Im only in low revs through the bottom of first and then its all upper revs will say 15/38 have an overall quicker et than say 14/38 with the stg 2, what about 14/36, thats about the middle of 15/38 and 14/38 right?

oh and also if hondas factory valve lash is .005 and .006 I think, why does hot cams say .013 and .015. I see it says it for all their cams. I just bought my bike and the valvetrain is pretty loud. ive read of people using honda specs with no problems and it was quiet. should I run these stock specs after breaking in the cam?

Honda is in thousands and HC is in millimeters.

.005 thousands = .13mm
.006 thousands = .15mm

now i feel dumb, if I would have paid enough attention to notice it says .13 not .013 I might have caught that.

the factory specs are 0.10 mm and 0.12 mm the hc are 0.13mm and 0.15mm. break in with the hc specs then adjust to factory for a much quieter engine

ok thanks, I gotta adjust the stg 2 cam in it now as well so ill just use stock specs.
