When i was cleaning my atv, i saw water go into the muffler. but it started normal and rides normal. is there anything that i should worry about?

Nope, nothing to worry about, and if the cylinder wall does somehow find a way to rust it will be gone so quickly once you turn the motor over.

water is nothing to worry about unless you get a lot in there.

your engine actually creates water as it runs. look a the tailpipe of a running car, you will usually see watter dripping from it.


Gas is a hydro carbon C8H18 and when mixed with oxygen, O2, it burs and the leftover is H2O and CO2. so no, water will not hurt anything as it is already there. just don't get to much into your engine, water in the oil is very bad.

Hell i had water in the crankcase, airfilter, and muffler just drained the old oil out put new oil, cleaned the filter and runs like a top. Nothing to worry about just don't run your motor if there is water in the oil...lol
