front calipers

im taking apart my front calipoers to put pads on. I took the two flat head covers off but theres two gold pins that look like allen heads. Are they meant to be taken apart with allen wrenches? There really tight....

ok..so i got 3 of them out but one is stripped like hell...how can i get it out?

try to get on it with vise grips where the pin gose through the pads. Also, heat up the caliper where the pin threads are.

I just had that problem. I used a easy out. You can also cut a slot into the opposite side of the pin with a dremel. It will cut into the caliper though.
