I have a 400ex, i'm looking at buying a set of 22x12-9 Kenda Bear Claws. I think i'm going to get a 14 tooth front sprocket. What do you all think of that? How much top speed will I lose?

with 22s and a 14 it shouldeven out to about the same maybe a little faster up top!

I would probably think it should be about the same as stock with the 22's and 14T. However, you may see a little power loss. Aren't those Bear Claws pretty heavy?

yeah those tires are pretty heavy. U should only loose some power though nothin crazy

Yeah I would do this mod if I was you. I run a 14t for my 20's and like the proformce from that.
