im a big fan of pro armor's skids. pretty much all ive ever used tho. nice and thick( i believe 1/4 inch, maybe 5/16) and takes abuse very well. only down side is the cost

prm all the way, if you thrashed your ac then go with the prm .250 thinkness. I have the .190 and have not had any issues other than some heavy gouges.

Cobra USA makes one of the strongest and best looking swingarm skidplates. The welds are flawless. It's 1/4" thick aluminum and can take a beating. I've had mine installed now for nearly 6 months of heavily abusive trail riding with no problems. It costs a little more than the other brands but, the added protection is well worth it. You get what you pay for. Spend a little now and save a lot later.

I feel that the quality is top notch and it holds up great. .250 inches all around. Not just .250 in "special reinforced" areas. Slides well over obstacles and installation is flawless with the hardware they provide.

PRM is the best. Stay away from the ones that are welded at the 90 degree just under your chain or disk brake. PRM has done the research and it works.

PRM x 2. I run a PRM on my 400 and my dad's. They're the best quality and design and I have never heard anything negative about their products (at least that I can remember anyways :) )

I already trashed a DG baja. It lasted about a year. I recently purchased a Pro Armor with a .25" thickness and it seems to hold up better.
