250r style 450r

Does any company make plastic similar to the old color and decal scheme as the old 250r for a 450r? I really want to make my 06 look like an old r with the plastic and gold wheels. Kind of a tribute to an icon. I cant find any plastic thats remotely the same and dont know if its possible to modify 250r plastic to go on a 450r?

I agree with you. I'd love to make ours look, set, and ride as good as a 250R. These 450's aren't anywhere near as comfortable to sit on or ride for that matter. "IF" someone would make a kit that included a gas tank and seat to change over to 250R plastic, I'd be the first one to buy it. If the back fenders came off with the seat I'd be happy. You could get the wheels. There are places that sell, repair, and anodize dirtbike rims. If you couldn't get them gold "new", these places could make them that way. You will have to do a little searching since I apparently deleted the link but they are there.
