I think he's asking how many teeth for the countersprocket not the best brand. This question has alot of variables like what are you racing on (pavement, sand etc...) then you have to take in your tire size, horsepower of your motor (some people are able to run a 15 tooth and still have 2nd or 3rd gear starts). More info is needed with your question. With my setup I drag in the sand at Glamis and pismo, I have a high comp piston, full exhaust, ported head, crf ignition, FCR carb and I run 21-12-8 6 paddle extremes with a 13 tooth front and 39 tooth rear. I can pull second gear starts pretty hard and if I feather the clutch instead of dumping it I can get away with 3rd gear starts just not as hard.
More info is needed.

my friend has a yfz with a exhast, revbox, k&n and rejetted and he runs a 15 in dirt

that thing is real fast
you can punch the throttle in second and it will stand straight up
