Alright, my brother just bought a 07 honda 450r.... I like to gather as much info as possible with stuff that gets brought into my house... so i'll cut to the point.

1. What are common problems on stock bikes
2. What is the best upgrade for a 450r
3. what are the things that make a 450r better then the rest to you guys?
4. what are the dimensions of the bike?
5. What/who make or sell bad parts?
6. what are problems on modded bikes
7. What would be the best mods for a xc bike on a budget
8. Who makes the wood pecker graphics..... haha i just want to know to buy him a present for his new bike.

Please answer in order so i don't get anything mixed up.

1. Most common i've heard of is the "dribble" of antifreeze on startup under the bike.
2. Exhaust and Cam are the best "bang for your buck" I have the DASA and the Web 943/921 and it RIPS!!!!
3. Uhhh....because its a HONDA!!!!
4. don't know off the top of my head!!
5. Everybody has their own opinion on this topic. I choose to plead the Fifth!!!
6. Mine isn't that "modded" but no problems so far with cam and exhaust!!!
7. Tires, Rebuilt shocks, Exhaust, and a low-mid cam!!!
8. Not sure who does the woody graphics!!!

1. If its the electric start version (TRX450ER) then the most common problem would have to be the starter going bad and the battery being junk.

2. Best upgrade would be the HRC kit, or the equivalent in a full exhaust system, race cam, and air box removed (few other details left out)

3. It's a Honda.

4. Length----------------72.6 inches
Width------------------46.3 inches
Height-----------------43.1 inches
Wheelbase-----------49.2 inches
Seat Height-----------32.4 inches
Ground Clearance---4.2 inches
Dry Weight------------350.0 pounds
Fuel Capacity---------3.2 gallons

5. It all depends on SOO many factors.

6. Blown starters, kickstart versions taking out case covers, anything can happen.

7. Meatier tires, HRC kit w/ a slip on pipe, Fasst flex bars, and GT thunder rebuilt suspension and a link.

8. Those are genuine Honda graphics and are very expensive $$ ask your dealer 'bout them.

9. Aren't I the greatest?
