Maier Hoods On a 450r

Hey Guys, I want to pick up a Maier Flat hood for XC racing when I have to take my light out. My Question is, is putting the Maier hood on completely reversible? I'm sure there will probably be a few holes in the sides of the fenders, but oh well, I wont have to cut anything right? (like the quad tech hoods)

i dont have that hood, but i have the scooped one. The only thing i had to do was drill one hole in each side. And no you shouldnt have to cut anything

you can do it, but in order to get it to sit flat...i had to trim off the mounting tabs on the fenders. i have the vented hood and it just didn't look smooth until i did that...

i have had that hood and a scooped one and i didn't have to do any trimming. I just bolted the top down and then drilled the sides.

I just had to drill the 2 small holes in the fenders.
No trimming at all, fit perfect.
