I was thinking of getting a JE 12:1 piston and boring my warrior out to 366. What excactly would be involved in this besides buying the kit? would I need a new sleeve? and has anybody else done it, is it worth it? what pipe/headpipe would you reccomend if I did this? Kinda new, so I dont really know the basics of boring out an engine.

Unless you plan on running on a 50/50 mix of race fuel and premium pump, or just staright race fuel than you shouldn't get a 12:1 compression piston. Also I suggest you buy new gaskets, make sure you get the correct gasket bore, and you might want to buy some valve seals, and richer jets.

yea I did some research, I think I am going to get a 84mm bore with 10:25:1 compression so I can just run premium gas. Good call on the gaskets and seals, but where can I find gaskets with the correct bore? and again, what kind of power gains am I going to get?

cometic shoulde have the right size for you or call poweroll
because they have a kit like that. If you plan to run this setup fine if you want more bottom or top for a pipe and get a cam to work with the pipe. not like a pipe that like to rev and a cam for bottom to mid. advyou try web on cams.
