I was thinking of getting a JE 12:1 piston and boring my warrior out to 366. What excactly would be involved in this besides buying the kit? would I need a new sleeve? and has anybody else done it, is it worth it?

The 366 kit is just a pistion a set of rings and a new pin and clips. If you cylinder is fine.. all you have to do is hone it and put the a stock bore 12:1 pistion in... Boring isn't always required..

really? Well I decided I do not want to go with 12:1 compression because I dont want to run race fuel. So what about this kit

Wiseco Piston Kit (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Warrior-Big-Bear-Wolverine-040-Wiseco-Piston_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43977QQihZ010QQi temZ200105746711QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

Would I need to get it bored with that kit. What kind of power will I get from it?

I had the FST 366 kit, it was a JE at the time 11.1:1 compression now 10.5:1 piston and a Megacycle 252X1 cam. I also had a white brothers e series pipe and k&n filter. Mickey Dunlap of FST said it would make 29HP. It's a good kit and I do recommend it.
