The impeller is not a bad idea, the engine ice is a must, and I don't see a need for the edelbrock carb unless you have engine mods and i mean big bore, high comp. pistons, cams, springs, crank, all the big stuff. If you want better flow just change you jets and get a slip on silencer and K&N filter. K&N also makes a decent oil filter that is rechargable. But that's JMO.......what it comes down to is what you want.

thanx alot for the advice. a friend of mine told me the same thing. I forgot to mention that i have a slip and kn filter and dyno jet kit. i think i'm gonna just go 1 tooth down on the front sprocket and be done with it. If it's not good enough for me i better look to sell and move up to a 450. lot less hassle. thanx again man, i appreciate the input.

If you want some cheap upgrades for more power try the DRZ base gasket and springs

basically i'd like to get as much out of it as i can without doing major work to it, cause i dont want to have to start replacing things and having it nickel and dime me. if this is all i can get out of it then i'll be happy, if there is more then i will be happier. are those springs and that easy to put on and will it cause any other problems? i appreciate it man. thanx

If you know how to back a nut off a bolt you should be able to install the springs...it can be done in a couple minutes.
