Here's some saltwater fish my bro and I caught while fishing off the coast of Fort Myers, Florida in November' 06. None of them were huge, but we caught a lot and the colors on them were awesome...plus they made for some good eatin'!

Sweet colors...

That looks like a grass pike .

A few more weeks and Walleye fishing opens up . I can't wait to go out and do some fishing again this year . I'll be loading up the atv and trailer and going into a few remote lakes to do some big northern pike and wallete fishing !!!

A couple years ago , a guy up at our cottage pulled out a 28lbs northern pike out of a very small lake .... by small I mean it would take you about 10 minutes to do the whole lake at trolling speeds . We found a few more spots like this one !!!

The fish in the first pic is a lane snapper, in the second pic you have a white grunt, and in the 3rd pic I can only make out some grunts and porgies, in case you didnt know what they were(maybe you did?).. And im pretty sure a few were not up to the minimal size limit, but it happens, your not from around there anyways so its all good...

I know some of them were porgies and sand perch. We were on a chartered fishing boat and they approved all the fish we caught as being legal size. We had to throw back several though, including a really nice grouper cause it was too small. Thanks for the clarification on what they were though.

Oh ok, yea it is hard to tell what size something is from a pic, but good job on them anyways...

Indeed.

Probably one of the best fish I ever had was a brook trout caught at dawn, then immediately gutted, sprinkled with salt and pepper, and a little butter, and baked wrapped in foil in the coals... man oh man!!! There is nothing like a shore lunch, or breakfast! Does anything ever taste as good as when you first caught it then eat it fresh outside? Nature is the ultimate condiment.

Have you ever seen a mud puppy? We have caught three on the river this year and they are nasty!
