i think my head gasket is gone. how can you tell if it is or not??

and how easy would it be to change one??

why do you think the head gasket is bad? They aren't hard to change, especially on a 400ex

Is there a power loss? A funny sound? Take it off and you will be able to tell where it leaked, if there is no sign, it wasn't leaking. Just because you see oil, doesnt mean the gasket is blown.
