I remember seeing somewhere, they used a stock YZ426.....not 100% sure though....call TC racing or www.tcracingengines.com. Tom will take care of you!
it looks like they cut a lil off th stock headpipe and fit certain silencer on, id pm jeff from quad shop and ask last timei saw he was at that point

i was going to build a 450f before i got my moto440, and i could have used a 426 stock pipe, or white brothers makes one i think..also not 100% sure again though.
Not sure but i think that jeff went directly to white borthers with the quad and the custom made him an exaust. by the way sick quad man
killer
You are probably going to get one custom made or make one from a 400ex fit yourself.
I'm droolin man.......

We ended up using a CRF R4 silencer and header. Then rowlrag bent exhaust tubing to mate the silencer to the header. We also had to make 1 custom hanger. It turned out really nice!

hey, are those front shocks on right?, should they be on the oppostie sides with the hose for the rezzies going around the back instead of twisted and turned?

Hye BigBore did you get the 400ex/CRF chassis?
You know the LSR Chassis that use's 400ex gemoetry and plastic, but with a crf motor?
P.S. Def tell us how she holds up and all, cause i think i may do that also,or maybe a Herrman/KTM ,hehe
i dont think thats a 400ex frame

Did you see my pipe on my Ex/yz conversion? It is a Power Pro's pipe, the designed was modified by Adam Sick and built by a third party and FINALLY sold by Trinity Racing, and it rips. I love it. Im sure it would slide right over the stock honda pipe and bolt up to the subframe. It is built to bolt up to the subfame of a 400ex, the head pipe may even work. Give Trinity a call, and ask for Harry, the owner, or no one else will have a clue of what you are talking about.

Oh my bad, I see that Gibson subframe isnt at all like the 400ex, and also, I see they neglected to put 2 mounting points on it for a pipe.:D

No its not a 400 based chassis it is a 250r chassis that has mounting for a crf same thing s what you said but only it is based on a 250r better handling and worth more money when i sell it if i sell it :-D
