baterry or the whole quad?

A friend of mine has an yfz and he was riding and his batterry died, so his fan stoped working (all of this hapened at one ride whitout turning off the bike) so his radiator died, so his bike heated up alot, so his piston burned....... he is one lucky guy!

tell him to check his powerband and kanooter valve. you cant have a white band with a blue valve. it kills your radiator like that. ive seen it happen many times. the best combo ive seen was a pink powerband and a lime green kanooter valve with the custom made 5" wide folgers can exhaust. its a sure set up for any quad. happy riding... always wear a helmet. ;)

a dead Battery killed his Radiator???....Ok for 1 thing a Radiator can only be "killed" by severe blockage or a puncture, electricity has nothing 2 do with it, Not having the fan run may cause overheating but unless he really punished the Quad during this time it shouldent have amounted to a whole lot.......come back and post in a manor that you can recieve some logical help;)

YFZ will not run very well with a dead batery, fan runs off of stator not batery.

Radiator has nothing to do with batery.
