Yep, we finally got a new truck. It’ll definitely make these 3000 mile racing trips much nicer….no more 91 Dodge POS, or a truck that’s not even ours.

2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab SLT, 3500, 4x4 SRW
-5.9L Cummins(One of the last 07’s with the 5.9)
-G36 6-Speed

Right now were working on getting the bed Rhino lined, getting a decent size fuel tank in it, and possibly some bumpers.

I keep trying to convince my dad to go for a Bully Dog downloader, or Propane injection, lol…..BUT, no major modifications will be made until the warranty is up.

NICE TRUCK!!! Bully dog and edge make some nice chips. Also you would want to install a filter and exhaulst to help it flow a little more. I wouldn't do propane unless you want to drag race only.

Thanks

Why would you do Propane for racing only.

Propane not only substantially increases horsepower and torque, but it also raises fuel economy, because your burn rate is now extremely close to 100%. Also, propane burns cool, and very clean. Thus, making the engine run cooler, and cleaner.....which means it will last longer.

Huge benefits, except that it screws with the warranty:ermm:

go with a banks you dont k now how many trucks ive seen that have used the Bully dog systems and it mess their truck up and have problems, my dad has been running Banks systems for the past 3 years on 3 of his trucks and not one single problem ever, plus they dont void the warranty unless you go all out with it and do the full power package or whatever its called (he has this on his newest 07 Ford, the kit was around 4gs and took us 12 hours to install it all) and its a badass now it tows our 11,000 pound 30' bumper pull toyhauler like its not even there and gets 13.5 mpg doing it, normally he averages about 17-19 when not pulling and thats putting it on the economy setting #2, his package has the 6 setting tuner and the palm piolt setup.

go banks you be happy you spent a little extra and got something thatll last as long as the truck
