over the winter i had a stage 2 hotcam 10.8:1 piston n 416 bore done to my 400. als a procircuit t-4 slipon pipe ne uni filter and took airbox lid off. first when i ran it it was gettign rlly hot so i assumed lean jetting. took it out for quick ride on road and it woudl bakcfrie and pop liek crazy when deexcelerating. wne tup to i believ a 160 main jet? think thats what he said he put in and it doe sit but not as bad, it is also runnnign cooler. could i solve this problem possibly by turingi the fuel mixture screw out some (the screw on bottom of carb facing the sky? thanks

You need more jetting help. Assuming stock carb, I'd try at least a 165, maybe a 170 and a 42 pilot and move the clip down notch on the needle

Just did a 416 kit on mine and jetting went to a 42 pilot and a 165 main and she runs great.
