it can be real quiet and real loud, just depends on how many disc you have in it.

The snuff r not replaces the sparkarrestor and lets you open the end of the pipe a little. It doesnt sounds bad just a little louder. I think the e serise sounds the best wide open. no disks or anything. but then it looks ugly. you will get mor etop end the more you open it up.

A note from my experience with my E Series.

About a year ago, I went to add six disk to mine, while I was unscrewing the bolts that hold the disk on, four of the bolts snapped off. Be careful when adding or subtracting disk.

I like the sould of my pipe. Its soulds good. I took of the last disc and sould awful though.

Thats why you need to use the never sieze that comes with pipe.

Your bike will run like S@#$! if you take all of the disks out. Your quad requires a certain amount of backpressure to make horsepower. Depending on mods, and where you live, is to how your bike will react to the number of disks that works best.:D

I have the e-series pro-meg on my 300. It sounds great, and you will feel a big difference in the 300 when you put this pipe on. I am running a 128 main jet, and richened the fuel air screw about half a turn. I am also running a k&n with no air box lid. With this I can almost keep up with a stock 400, but not a chance against a piped 400. The only thing to remember is that the suspension on the 300 sucks balls. It might be ok if you only weigh 100# but I am 200# and it just doesn't cut it. So I am saving for either a new suspension or a 400.

Get the k&N jet kit. It will tell you how to jet yor quad for whaTt you need.

Actually, when I jetted it the way the kit says, it was way too lean. I had to go up a couple of sizes to get it right. But if you buy the kit, you will have all the size jets that you need to get it right. So try the different size jets and see what works best for you quad, but above all have fun with it.
