i had to take my carbuerator on and off a few times and the last time i did it even tho my quads at the shop now the baffle plate was put back in. Whats the baffle plate do? whats its importance

ther is no baffle in the carb but u have one on the muffler(silencer) its made into the end cap held on by 3 10mm bolts

im pretty sure its called baffle plate its something with a b and then plate i forgot to put it back in my carb so i need to know what i t does in case its important ill put it back in immidietly

check bikebandit.com or servicehonda.com for the microfiche of the carb and see what your missing your description is pretty vague!

is this the anti-splash baffle plate that goes into the float bowl? it is natural plastic color? If so it keeps gas from splashing into the carb when the quad is at steep angles such as wheelies.

its a little plastic thing and bike bandit says its the jet holder? i didnt put that back in by mistake whats going to happen ?

Probably nothing.

If you experience bogging or misfires going through rough terrain then put it back. Prolly a good idea to put it back no matter what. You don't want to grab some throttle in a hairy situation only to have the engine bog out an you. That may not ever happen, but just in case you might as well put that piece back in there.

Nine times out of ten, when Honda puts something on a bike... It has a purpose, so try NOT to leave out parts, it all does something.

Put it back in.
