Getting a Number???

Ok, I want to race some XC this year, so I need to get a number. Is the best way to get a number to just Register with AMA and use the last 3 digits of my member number??

i picked 122 like last year.... becus i liked it,

you could use your favorite riders # and justmake it a 3 digit or leave it two, it just so happenes my fav rider is chad reed, so 122 works for that as well....

well if it is actuall GNCC they will assign you one, but if it is just a local series you should be able to pick your own number.

well i don't know about AMA, but if it is only a local series you should be albe to choose a number of your liking.

my local ama gives you a number on sign up. I would give your local District a call and see what they say;)

The higher the number, the less chance somebody is gonna have it...
The lower the number, the greater chance somebody is gonna have it...

I talked to a rep from D14 today and she said what they would like me to do is Register for my AMA membership and use the last 2 or 3 digits of my number.

if u get a low # and someone else already has it they will make u take some tape and slash it or add to it with tape to make it a diffrent #
