JUNK!

i bought one for my 400 and hate it. if i was home i would get pics, but in only has about 3-4 rides on it and it is pretty much destroyed. after teh first ride it was bent up into the brake rotor and now it is even worse. they are ok for light trails or MX, but for XC or hard trail riding i would spend some money and get a decent one.

whew. I was just about to order some before i read this! I will definately look into the armadillos. Do you also reccomend getting a-arm skids? I only ride on trails and dunes.

Definately! The first thing I did before any other mods was full skids(ProArmor)

i would not run a-arm skids. all they do is hold water and dirt. they do not protect much so i would not run them.

underpowered is right I guess it depends on what state you are from with the A-arm skids, In Pa it is a good idea to have them. They help to slide over rocks .

I went ahead and ordered the armadillo engine/chassis, swingarm and a-arm skids. I do a lot of forest trail riding which has tons of rocks so I figure its a good investment to protect those a-arms as well. I got them all for 250 at rockymountain atv. Ill let yall know how they do on the trails.

RPM, ProArmor, and Armadillo are all good skids you should be good. Northeast riding can be brutal on your chassis with all the rocks.
