strange clutch problem

When i go to pull my clutch in on my 400ex, it still acts like it is in gear. The engine is off by the way. It will roll fine in neutral, but i will put it in first, and engage the clutch, and it does nothing but stay in gear. Any sugestions? It has new clutch plates and springs in it too.

Not to steal your thread but my problem is very similar, mine actually on initial startup when I put mine in first with the clutch pulled in will actually jump forward like the clutch is let out, I just recently put a new clutch and HD springs in mine also. Any Idea on either of these issues because mine can be hard to get out of gear sometimes too. Thanks

The hub nut COULD be too tight?

Just a stab in the dark...

My 400ex clutch seized up while pulling burnouts :D and it just locked up and the clutch did nothing...

i got the problem fixed. i just fired it up and now it works fine. strange
