I dont see much boxer in your dog, I see brindle pit bull.
Actually, pit mixes are some of the best dogs to have. Purebred pits are kinda tempermental but the pit mixes are generally very good dogs.

Thanks guys.It was a stray someone took in and took care of.He needed a home so we took him.The person we got him from said boxer mix so I just took it for that.I am not very knowledgable on dog breeds.

You can tell by the dogs marking's and its build, by the look's of the dog it was well taken care of so I'm sure it's a very nice dog! from past experiances with strays and getting dobermans from rescues they were the most loyal and loving dog's I've ever owned! :macho

Add on: The white markings on the chest and feet do kinda say boxer though, so its possible theres some boxer in the mix.
Well, whatever kind he is he looks like a good dog.

Could be a boxer/pit mix? but it's hard to tell where the head came from you would expect it to have a short snout with a wide head, which in a way it does but it's missing those boxer slobber jaws :p

the more i look at it, the more i see pit in him, look at the markingm the "leopard" marking on his back, something only pits have, and the face looks like the cross between a pit and a boxer. looks like a fun dog.

His name is Fat Boy :) I don't think he had any room to run where he was and the person we got him from had him for close to a year.He will have several acres of running room here.

I can see some boxer in him...

Here are my 2 boxers... both pure-bred. The one on the left is brindled... and he lost a lot of weight now. :p
