I bought a 400ex carb to put on my 313ex to help fix the problem of it running lean. Only to install it and have it run even more lean when idleing runs great on top end and mid but when it idles if you put the choke on it runs smother. I took it apart to clean and adjust it only to find out it has the same size of a pilot as my stock 300ex carb. No wonder the 400ex has such a hard time starting and warming up. Man what was honda thing? Lets get a much bigger motor and a carb with a bigger bore for more air BUT lets put the same size of pilot in it, Thats a good idea, NOT. Sorry, Just complaining.
