Is there a right way to install all the bearings and seals..........like is there a up/down to the bearings and seals.

I can't remember when I took them out which way they were in the cases.

Any help is much appreciated! It is on a 06 if it matters!

Thanks.

Not sure in what location your talking about, or what bearing/seals. Most bearings can go either way, there isn't an up or down. However the seals usually have a certain way they go in.

Just pop em in. Use a socket or something else that is the exact size. I had a bearing installation kit, which helped tremendously. Just make sure you put the seals in the correct way. Do you have the manual for this?

Yeah, I have the manual but it does not say which way the seals go!

I guess I have a 50/50 shot..........LOL!

Did you take some out of your old case? I finally got mine, and if I do have to order some, it doesn't look like to many.

Im pretty sure they will seal in both directions, they aren't a one way valve you know. Im not saying that there isn't a "right" way, but I cant see a direction being that important. Check out the 04/05 crank bearing failure sticky, there are quite a few pics of bearings and seals being put in.
