what shoudl i get, yz250f,yz125, or wr250

i really wanna get a yz250f but my dad said he heard that it cost 1200 to rebuild the pistons or somthing and it only takes 250$ to do it for a yz125, my old bike is a 2004 ttr-125 and i can only jump it like 5 feet. i want a bike i can jump and maybe race, should i get a used 2001-2004 wr250, yz250f, or yz125. i really want a yz250f but i dont want to spent 1200 a year to rebuild the top end or somthing like that.

well i hope for 1200 your getting a whole new head and cylinder! rebuilding a 250f consists of a piston kit which is ~ 100. if you choose to get a vavle job that is up to you but it is a pretty good idea. pretty inexpensive for the performance and reliability you can get. i vote for a 250f!
