axle nut

i was wondering how big the lock nut is cus i wanna buy an adjustable wrench big enough for it i dont like using pipe wrenches it scratches the mess outta the nut thanks

ok,the inner nut is a 56mm,which is the lock/nut.The outer is a 45.5 mm.I would just go out and buy and big adjustable,or get a anti-fade nut.

well i looked around town and i couldnt find on big enough to fit the nut lowes home depot napa sears

I think MSR sells them in rockymountain, they are just flat plates, that you use a 1/2in breaker bar in.
