I am running GT Thunder complete suspension with mx link, and just noticed I broke the airbox. The link smacked the bottom of the airbox! Does anyone know of a good aftermarket airbox to correct this problem?

ive been through countless air boxes so far, i just duct tape the holes back up and keep using them, find stock ones on ebay cheap when u can. aluminum airboxes will still break, they sell air box lifter kits to raise it 1" but you'll probably still break them, they are real easy to make, cut some 1 to 1-1/2 inch long pieces of flat steel and drill to holes in them at each end, unbolt that airbox and put it in between if u get what im saying, you can make them for around 5 bucks or free if u have some scrap metal instead of spending 55 bucks

Thanks for the replies!
I was thinking of cutting away the area that is being hit, and replacing with alum. (forming to allow more clearance)
