Help.. Water=Problems

Two races I have been left out on the trails because of something getting wet when I run through a creek.. It will just die then I will let it sit for a little while then it will fire up.. I think water is getting in my carb some how.. But others think it may be something else getting wet.. So if you could give me your oppion of what it may be and how to fix it..

Put silicone on all of your electrical connections.

You have to look at your airbox and see where water is getting in. Is it choking and spitting B 4 it dies? if so then its getting into the airbox. need to seal it up and look on the bottom of the airbox for the drain. Is that where its getting in?

Nope.. I just dies.. But the more I think about it, I think it may be electrical. because it cranks but will not fire.. Water is a conductor of electricity...
