Does anyone have pic by pic instructions on checking/ adjusting the valves on a 450r? Thanks for the help.

Do the stock shims wear out over time or do you only have to re-shim when you modify your machine. There isn't a way to adjust them like on the 400ex is there? Just reshim? Im just a little confused on that.

No you cant simply adjust them like the 400ex, however once you do adjust them using the shims, they tend to stay in clearance a lot longer. The stock shims dont really wear out, they are hardened. The hotcams shims are softer, with a hardened coating on them, so they will wear out easier with a big over-lap cam though.
