A mechanic said that i might need to rebore my quad after examining it, so if i ride trails and snow and tracks a few times what size reliable bore should i buy?

416, its a good reliable size, depending on what else you do, it can be really powerful yet reliable.

Yea get a 416, If you go on goldenwestcycle.com they have a 416 kit that comes with everything all you need to do is have your engine builder or mechcanic bore and hone your cylinder. The kit is around $330 I believe but is well worth it. Make sure you get 11:1 comp so you can run on pump gas.

ok I plan on keeping the quad from now until early next year like january or february. What is everything I need for the rebuild the shop has my quad but if they ask me what i would like the bore to be then I will tell them but i want to know everything thats needed to bore the quad. like i know you'll need the new piston and the cycliner redone what else?

you will need the piston kit and top end gaskets I would also recommend adding a cam to help performance(this is not a have to but will compliment the 416 well)
