the rear end is bucking. do i loosen the spring then ride till i like the feel. Or is there a technical way to adjust these shocks.
Like so many turns to so many lbs.?
do i make the same adjustments to the front?

Time to ether get you shocks rebuilt or buy new shocks, rebuild about $800, new about 2 or 3 K$

There are several adjustments that you can make on the Fox shocks on your Outlaw 500 to suit your weight and riding style.

The stock settings usually take some adjustments to suit individual likings. Here is a link with some basic suggestions for setting up preload, rebound, compression and some other things on ATV's. There are many more articles on the net that also offer suggestions on setting up your shocks.

If they still do not suit your needs then you can do what Bill suggest and fork out some $$$$.
