well those of you with a steve and barry's know about those starbury shoes for $15 made buy stephon marbury thats suppose to prove that you dont have to pay $90+ for quality shoes, .....well i went and bought some to support his cause but will it actually do just that? meaning will we see the day when big shoe brands catch on and you can be able to get chucks for like $20 or nike shox for $50? im mainly was just wondering how many people is buying them for the same reason.

yeah thats what i was afraid of (ive planned on using my starbury's for riding anyway) so im just guessing even if they did sell 1 million shoes, within 5-10 yrs big shoe brands will blow it off anyway and chucks will go from 40 - $90 and shox from 100 - $175 (and gas to go get them will continue to rise as well :D )

(an sga check them out on either starbuy.com or go to ebay and push in starbury shoes)

Marbury only made those because he isn't a big enough star to sign with a major shoe company.I would never buy off brand shoes. They are uncomfortable and don't last long.

I went and looked online www.starbury.com/goods.php
Who gives a rip $14.99 not bad lookin shoes and im not trying to impress my friends or any women, i'll give them a try. Of course they wont last as long as name brand shoes, specially Rockports but 14.99, who cares 3-4 months by then theyll be all banged up anyway.

Ok i lied im always trying to impress women:D

I bought a new pair of Nike's at the outlets a few weeks back for $10- Size 17's. originally marked $129.99

The week after that I picked up another pair for $20, originally marked $139.99.

I think they are Nike Air Hurache?(sp)

They look like this:

As far as buying stuff from Steve and Berry's, I never have, because they don't have anything to fit my 6'7", 275# body. XXL shirts are too short and they don't have any jeans that are long enough either. Really Frustrating.

If I could, I would definately spend $15 on a couple pair of shoes and some t-shirts though.
