Does 400ex rear shock and swing arm bolt right on to a 300ex

i am wondering it bolts right on like the front end does

no the shock has a linkage and u would need to fabricate that on a 300ex swinarm and i don't think that the swinarm off a 400ex would work either.

the 300ex shock doesnt have linkage? i wonder why?
