go with whatever your comfortable with, if i had the dirt i would probably make a 4ft tall launch, with maybe a 30ft gap, and then a 2.5ft tall landing that stretches out around 12ft.

1 load of dirt wont get u very far. Make a little double at a size ur comfortable with.

One load of dirt wont get you much, if you could find a down slope near your pile of dirt and make the jump about 20 ft in front of it or whatever your comfortable with. use your dirt to make the jump and patch it up with what you have left over. I build tracks and i know one load doesn't go very far.

When I made my jump it was a 45ft gap with about a 4 and 1/2 ft high launch but the landing was huge. I loved the jump but we ripped it down and are in the process of making a track.
