I need some feedback from you guys on this subject. I know it's getting to be like beating a dead horse around here.

My setup right now is a crf cam, crf carb, sparks exhaust, 13.1 piston, open airbox, head is cleaned up but..... I want more power

Cams considering....

hotcam stage II
hotcam stage III
web camshaft 493/729

Any suggestions, feedback or expirence is greatly appericated.

Thanks.

Alright, hotcam stg. 3 is a stroker cam..

Hotcam stg. 2 is a GREAT cam, it's what I run and is completely drop-in.

From what I've heard the webcam is good too, but I'm not sure if it req. hardened rockers or not?

What year is ur CRF cam? 02? 05?

If u want more power then what you have now, I'd say ur next step is head work.

Different cam isn't going to give you much more power, just in a different place.
Unless u get that crazy web cam that requires u to sawsall ur entire top end to make it fit. lol

I went from a HC2 to a web mysto cam and gained 5 hp but it's not cheap to put a large cam in you need shorted valve guides, HD valve springs, Adjustable cam gear then you need to degree your cam so you have vavle to piston clearance..

You said you had your head cleaned up, who did the work? If it is a shop, ask them what cam selection you should try, some porters have port jobs that work better with cam A rather than cam B.

i have the web 943/921 cam and it pulls really hard almost clear to the top. it is a low to mid cam but runs really well. i pulled 45.07 hp running 6 jet sizes to lean on top. i changed my jet but didn't run it again. i figure i'm at 47-48 pretty easily. i'm running a '07 with a full dasa exhaust and that cam. i love it!!!
