this happened to me not too long ago. Your going to need a new stud so go ahead and order one. You can ride it without one stud but just keep an eye on it until you get your new one. the way i got off the old stud and nut was by taking a dremel with a cutting wheel on it. i got on the back side of the wheel and cut off head of the stud.

old studs can be hammered out. take a hammer and just hit it out. Then order a stud from any year 250r. Once you get, just hammer it back in.

Uhh, buddy... he said the nut is still on it so it has to be cut

And why not just order a 450r stud?

i didnt konw you could order just the stud for the 450r. The diagrams dont show the stud avaible for quads like the 300ex 250ex 400ex so i figured it was the same with 450r. Its the same stud either way.

is there spose to be like little spines on the inside of the hub? like where the stud goes in?

Nope. the studs have the little splines on them which hold them in place. the splines on the stud wore out is why it started spinning. :macho
