stator question

I have replaced every wire on my 400ex except for the wire that plugs into the wire harness and goes into the left side case. The stator is what it is called I guess. Could the stator prevent the neutral light from coming on and causing my quad not to start.

Any information will be helpful.

You checked the fuse, right? What about the neutral safety switch on the clutch lever?

is your ground tight?
