Zaca Station -Round 5 may be moved to Taft - See Below
(note: Zaca Station is Round 6 for the bikes)
Complete Story (http://atv.worcsracing.com/newsfull.php?ID=207)
Unfortunately WORCS has been put in a very difficult spot. The land owner is under pressure from the residents/land owners that surround his 8,000 acre ranch about sound. He has decided to impose a 96db limit at this point and time while he investigates the issue further. He does want to be a good neighbor however he realizes that he has a contractual commitment to WORCS to hold the event. WORCS currently imposes a 99db limit. WORCS does not see the feasibility of meeting the 96 db limit in 3 weeks. This would most likely mean an exhaust change for about 85% of all race bikes and quads. The Zacca Station crew is working as fast as possible to get clearance for the WORCS National events. WORCS does realize the expense that some racers have already incurred from plane ticket purchases and plans. With this in mind it is our goal to hold the event at a close location so as little inconvenience is caused. This will also limit the number of venues available for us and when you consider the late timing this will reduce that number even further since many already have events on the schedule. Cancelling the event is not a desirable option. We will have a final answer by 5pm Monday April 23.
