so... this is my second time streching the 400ex timing chain last time i ask the mechanic about the crf 450 timing chain he told me it wouldn't work and not to worry about this new one streching... and so i guess im going to do the work myself this time is their any down falls in putting the crf 450 cam chain in the 400ex and does it go one like the stock one or does it have to be rigged up...

The CRF450 timing chain is just wider then the 400EX and its the same length. Thats what I run in my 460 and so far so good !

i think im streching them by doing wheelies with my fatass on the handle bars? is this probably right... should i down tooth to a 13t sproket if im going to be wheeling with me on the bars

there is no comparison when you see the 400ex chain you will be like dam. i have bigger gold neck chains!!! it is honestly toy like. the 450 chain is bigger in every way i just put one in and i feel much better about my engine lasting. check your tensioner also if you can push it in at all its bad. i have the number if you need it. late :D
