ive seen a few TRXs with this yellow switch... what is it for?

Its so you can change the curve on the Vortec Ignition on the fly i think.

Thats for a programable CDI... Pretty sure, but I can't remember the name of it... Vortex ignition (probably wrong)

It's not a kill switch.

the above are right it is to switch between the max power setting and one of 10 other settings that you can pick from on a Vortex ignition

X2, i got that ignition myself really nice stuff and it acts as a rev box all that good stuff.
