Will shocks off of a 250R fit a 400EX can anyone answer this.And what can I do to a 400EX to get more torqe I already have installed a full White Brothers exhaust and a k&n air filter and got a jet kit on the way.

Yeah, they should fit.

you can either drop your front sprocket to a 14 or 13 tooth sprocket or go to a 39 or higher sprocket. your stock gearing is 15/38. Also a shorter tire in the rear = more torq, taller tire in the rear = higher top speed.

250r shocks are shorter than an ex shock...im 98% positive the 250r is 15 3/4" and 400 is 16 1/4" will work but lowers ride height and has a shorter stroke

and on the piston 11:1 is very popular, but i'd go 12 or higher:devil: :devil:
