View Full Version : What size ITP GNCCs for GNCC racing?

Ok you GNCC racers, what size ITP GNCCs are you running? I have been running RAZOR2s for the last 2 years in 23" fronts and 22 rears. I cen get the GNCCs for a real good price. I want to go smaller, But I am not sure what size to go with. It looks like the GNCCs only come in 2 rear sizes 21x11x9 and 20x10x9. I am not sure how the 20x10x9 will do due to the width? any help would be great! THANKS!

I'd run 20's in back and 21's in front, that seems to be a pretty popular choice among XC racers. don't think the one inch of width will hurt much. Sometimes those numbers aren't right anyways. I've seen 3 threewheelers that all had 22-11-8 tires and not one of the tires was the same height or width.

I run the 21"s GNCC in the rear, the 20s I don't think are actually 20 inch they look like mx tires:blah: and they kinda balloon up a little by the ones I've seen

DJJ then do you run the 21 or 22 up front? Can you also measure the true hight of the rears for me? Thanks

My wife is running the 21" rears with the 21" fronts she used the 20" rears last year and said that she prefers the 21" rears.

im running the 20" rears and 22" fronts now but i am going to the 21's in the near future just for the little extra heighth and width

Thank you all for the help. I think I will be going with the 22, 21 combo. They are a little smaller than what I am running now.

I am in the same boat as you are. I think I am going to go with 21's front and back. I think the extra ground clearance will be nice. As for the front, Colby said it will corner a litlle better, which makes sense a little lower to the ground.

I have a brand new set of 20" rears in my garage and they are small compared to my 20" IRazr's...they look like 18's beside them. I think they are going on my stepsons 300EX instead of my 450...and then I will run the 21 rears instead

my stock tires were a little bigger then gncc's too:eek:
