Supertrapp Ids2

How many of you have the Supertrapp?

I think everyone on here gets a bit pipe crazy sometimes, like when i look at dyno charts, all comparable exhausts range within like 1.5 or so hp, so they're all pretty close in my opinion.

I ride my friend's 400 all the time, which has the supertrapp, and I like it. Not tooooo loud, but sounds goooood, torquey, and has the spark arrestor. Only thing is can you get a header pipe for it in the future? I dont' think so, not sure tho.

I LIKE MINE, IT FIT PERFECT AND IS A GOOD LOOKING PIPE. PLUS ITS LESS EXPENSIVE THAN MOST OTHER BIG NAME PIPES. THE SOUND ISN'T AS THROATY AS A E SERIES PIPE, BUT I CAN RUN WITH MY BUDDIES 300 WITH THE WB E SERIES. GIVE IT A TRY!

a guy i rode wit alot last winter had the ids2 and it did sound sweet. i think it was like the t4, big gun, yoshi in that u had to shift sooner because power dropped earlierrpm limit than stock but had good low and mid power.

I have one on my 400ex and love it. Great sound and power and not too pricey. I really recomend it!:cool:

my friend has 1 he had it for about 6 months then the paint came off, it started to sound like ****....the disks got all loose.DONT GET ONE!!! I got a FMF Mega Maxi 2, its a great pipe, not to loud, gives good power....FMF ALL THE WAY.

I just got my IDS2 and am having trouble jetting it. I have a K&N, prefilter, and a Dynojet kit. I was wondering what jet you guys run on your 400ex w/ the pipe and filter.

I put an IDS2 on my daughters' (9years old) Lakota Sport this summer and never could get it to run right w/out most of the discs. I found the sound extremely irritating and when I quieted it down it wouldn't run well. When it was loud it ran very strong, more power than I wanted her to have actually! BUT sounded terribly annoying and I finally put the stocker back on. Oh Yeah, it didn't fit for crap and it came with the head pipe!:macho
