"Mumm's the word" .. Has anyone had any business or word of them? There more of an engine building company .. If you do what do you have to say about them and what business did you do with them?

Well if its the "Mumm's the word" from here in Iowa, my bro works with Lenny Mumm the owner at machine shop in Cedar Rapids. I haven't really heard that much other what my brother tells me. He says that Lenny really pushes Yammy and Honda and won't hardly touch a Suzuki. I also have had a couple buddies get ripped off by him from doing work that wasn't asked to do. I don't think hes all that great of a builder myself.

Could be a different Mumms though.......

Lenny Mumm is an AMAZING engine builder! He built my motors and motors for Nate Frees for years! He is a great guy and knows what he is doing. He has also built motors for Brock Lyons, Jason Watt, Cory Ellerbroek, and several others. I have ridden motors from nearly every motor builder and Mumms the word motors are right up there with the best, especially his 4-stroke motors. For what it's worth, I won two Iowa State Championships (Quad A class) and placed 7th in the GNC Open Pro-Am class in 2002 using Mumms motors.

Here are a couple pictures of my race bike, it is very hard for me to tell which bike it was I had 2 identical bikes (one, which I sold, is posted above and has had some changes made) The only difference between the bikes was the rear brake line, one was blue, the other was grey.

Make sure you run a high quality race fuel, at least 112 octane. Mix the oil at 14.5 ounces per 5 gallon. You will also want to run stiffer clutch springs, we used springs out of a suzuki 500 dirt bike (not sure what year, ask Lenny Mumm)

Sounds good.. I got a 38mm a/s, lrd big bore, 14mm reed spacer, 27cc dome, v force reeds to run with it.. stock radiator with two inline coolers 8 fin and 21 fin.
What gearing 14/38? mx?

14/36 for wide open MX courses, 14/38 for tighter SX tracks. but your own preferences may be different.

the inline coolers will help, just make sure you aren't running wide open down a field for 5 minutes. We ran a pro series aluminum high capacity radiator on it. the cooler it runs the faster it will go.
