Best MX 9" Wheels

What's everyone's opinion on the best MX 9" wheel for the buck? Looking for something in the $100-150 range per wheel. This wheel will be specifically for MX as I have stock wheels for trail riding and misc. Sorry for the stupid question but the search button is not working for me, tried it in both my Internet browsers and neither work.

I'm looking at a pair of 9" ITP Baja wheels for $130 but I'm wondering if weight is an issue with these wheels?

I would stick with the stockers until you can afford hipers. The stockers IMO are one of the strongest wheels you can buy. I would run them over even the bajas.

I have to agree. The stock wheels are strong. Unless your getting Douglas Ultimates or Hypers, I'd stay with stock for now.

U said in the $100 to $150 range save up $60 bucks and order them, i don't think u will find them any cheaper than he has them shipped!

just keep stock until you can get some beadlocks. just stay away from any rim without a rolled lip.

You say save up $60, but that'll only be saving up for one wheel. To upgrade to HiPers I'd have to dish out an extra $200 and right now it's not in the budget.

Thanks guys though, looks like I'll be just getting another set of stock rims either new ones or a used set on eBay.

Oh really? I thought I saw them on there for more than that.

Would it better to get beadlocks in the rear and regular .190's in the front?

Get the beadlocks in the back and the ultimates (yellow label) in the front.

Thats what I run for MX, they are super tough.

for 220 you can get a full set of rear bead locks from burgard(made out of .190's)

Well the shamrocks and the billet centers are more expensive, but all you need is the yellow label (ultimates) conventional center beadlocks in the back, and yellow label conventional center non beadlocks in the front.
